At Cal-Tex, Giving Back is Important

Cal-Tex Companies is actively involved in giving back to the communities it serves and supporting non-profit organizations that make a difference in people’s lives. Here’s how we contributed in 2018:

Minnesota Twin’s Diamond Awards

We co-sponsored the 2018 and 2019 Minnesota Twin’s Diamond Awards, which raises funds to benefit the University of Minnesota’s innovative research and patient care focused on ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), ataxia, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.

Putt with Pete golf event

Cal-Tex was one of the sponsors of the annual Putt with Pete golf event, which supports For the Love of Pete, an organization which funds hydrocephalus research around the world. Cal-Tex employees also provided volunteer assistance to this event.

St. Michael Church and School

We supported St. Michael Church and St. Michael School in Prior Lake with funding of programs, plus donation of materials and time. Cal-Tex donated all electrical construction services and materials for new HVAC equipment for St. Michael School in Prior Lake.

Fourth of July fireworks

Cal-Tex assisted with sponsoring the Fourth of July fireworks celebration at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake through funding and employee volunteer assistance as part of its membership in the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Goodwill’s “We Build” program

We provided funding and volunteer hours to Goodwill’s “We Build” program.

Uponor Charities

We partnered with Uponor Charities by providing funding, materials and volunteer hours.
